Drop a Course Late Without a "W" Grade (No W)
Student may request a No W grade for the following reasons:
• Student has never attended the class or participated (submitted any assignments), but did not request to drop the class prior to the last day to drop without a “W” grade has passed
Excused Withdrawal (EW Grade)
Student may request an EW grade for the following reasons:
• Accident, illness or other circumstances beyond the control of the student
• Due to unlawful discrimination or retaliation (documentation required)
• Due to the college being unable to provide instruction due to fire, flood, or other emergency condition as defined in Title 5-58146 (Enrollment refund will be included)
Military Withdrawal (MW Grade)
Student may request an MW grade for the following reasons:
• Called to military active duty (Documentation required and enrollment refund will be included)
• Called to National Guard active duty (Documentation required and enrollment refund will be included)
Withdrawal (W Grade)
Student may request a W grade for the following reasons:
• Accident, illnesses or other circumstances beyond the control of the student
• Due to personal or academic need to withdraw If a student is requesting a drop beyond the deadline, instructor confirmation of Last Date of Attendance (LDA) is required.
